Autohaus Dresen wanted to provide itscustomers and employees with a charginginfrastructure for e-mobility, but there was alack of the corresponding grid connectioncapacity. The planned e-charging infrastructureof the car dealership with a total ofeight charging stations, including a 50 kWdirect current rapid charging station, hasaround 193 kW with simultaneous use of allstations at full power. The existing powerconnection, on the other hand, can onlyserve a maximum output of 150 kW.Success story 2.Complete solar package forthe Dresen car dealership.E-mobility, but sustainable.Instead of expanding the power supply ata high cost, the dealership has investeddirectly in a sustainable energy supply fromsolar power. In addition to the photovoltaicsystem, the energy solution includes acommercial storage system and an energymanagement system. With the energysolution, the car dealership has realised asecure, independent and overall efficientenergy supply for the charging stations andthe entire operation. Previously unproductiveroof surfaces were used for a high-performancephotovoltaic system that nowproduces its own electricity.
